Today we were learning to use PosterMyWall to make a infographic about what to do when things go wrong online. I enjoyed learning how to use a new tool instead of google drawings and google slides I found it hard to get things done on time because my internet was going really slow. Next time I would make the angry face into a transparent background image.

Word of the week - Week 9

In the Word of The Week reading activity I filled out this sheet that Mr.Norris gave us. I enjoyed doing it because it can be quick to complete. The hardest thing I found was that the 'config' wouldn't backspace and it's like it automatically froze into the sentence box.

Word Of The Week - Week 6

This is my Word Of The Week. We do it every week and have to complete it by Friday. It's a Reading activity about us finding about one particular word and filling in the boxes.

Research Project: Extinct Animals.

I chose to do the Heracles Parrot after I saw it on the news last month. I researched about it and put the information on my slides. I hope you enjoy learning about this awesome parrot!

The Short Cut

As we exited the bakery I peered back at the baker, capturing his gloominess in my brain. I spin around to see my dad calling me and Elliot
into the car, “Come on Issy!”  Aunt Stephanie says. As we head of I picture the baker’s face once again, memorizing it until it fully sunk in.
Aunt Stephanie starts to photograph the amazing surroundings. “ Wowee, we don’t have a paradise like this in London!” She exclaims,
spinning around to face me, “you and my brother are so lucky to live here!” I think about what she said and opened my mouth to speak,
but just at that second, familiar voices started to overtake my words. But then something out of the ordinary happened…

I flicked my view back to the front of the car, and my face started to beam. I felt as if I were in a cinema, watching a movie premiere. There
he was, Brad Pitt. But he was there, directing the scene. My mind started spinning, firing different images into it, but just left me confused. I
just didn’t get it. After all theses memories, the baker was there. 

They all left and we drove to the lake, eating delicious sammies and drinking cold lemonade. We started swimming in the lake and then he
was there again. But he didn’t have his stern glare on his face, thus his face following with a smile and a bucket load of laughter.  Maybe he’s
never been here and he wanted to follow us and got caught up? Rethinking my thoughts, I thought it wasn’t possible. But anything could be
possible. Just after I let the thought leave my mind, Elliot questioned my dad.

“Uncle Eddie, why is the baker here?” he says making the exact same face whilst pointing towards the unknown face. “Honestly Elliot, I
have no idea. Surely he’s not the same guy.” Cocking his eyebrows, the answer wasn’t very convincing. We all agreed to change the
subject and enjoy our next few hours here. But I just can’t help myself wondering...

This piece of writing is a continuing the story. My teacher Mr.Norris wrote the beginning 3 paragraphs and I wrote what I was picturing. It's cool because everyone has something different in their writing.
